why does everyone think they need to take out a divet to hit with irons? i’ve been hitting golf balls “cleanly” for years and i’ve always hit nice shots. Doesn’t make sense… Just makes the course look like shit.

Gotta bear in mind that you need to be using a golf ball with a soft cover too – you’ll never get any spin with one of the cheaper balls like a Top Flite
